Rockup

Privacy

Waitlist privacy note. Last updated 11 October 2026.

Who we are

Rockup is run by its two founders in Australia. Once our company is registered, it will look after your details. Questions about your details: privacy@getrockup.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we keep:

  • your email address
  • your uni, or that you’re not a student
  • how you heard about us, if you tell us
  • the referral code in the link you used, if there was one, and the code we give you to share
  • that you confirmed you’re 18 or over, and when you joined

We don’t ask for your name, date of birth, phone number or location, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why

  • To email you about Rockup’s launch.
  • To count how many people join with your share link, for referral rewards.
  • To see, as overall numbers, which unis and channels people come from.

Who can see it

Only the two founders. We don’t sell or share your details, and partner venues never see the waitlist. Two services hold data for us: Supabase stores the waitlist in Sydney, and Vercel hosts this website and keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep it secure. Vercel may keep these logs outside Australia.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you haven’t become a member by 30 June 2027, we delete your waitlist details then.
